Dinosaurs!

Photos courtesy of Christine Stahly! Since Miss Amanda was sick today Miss Christine helped with this lesson. We wanted to see how many friends would fit in the life size T-Rex foot print!

Sand Paper Sun!

Last week we learned about the weather. We had learned about the sun on Friday! We then made our own sun by painting sand paper! What a great sensory project for them! They loved feeling the sand paper!

Playdoh Fun!

Last week we got out the playdoh! These kids always have so much fun with playdoh and the tools we have!

Make it Rain!

We did a science experiment to make it rain! We put shaving cream on top of water and then put food coloring on top until it goes through and looks like its raining! The kids loved watching to make sure the blue food coloring went through to the water!

What fun we have!

On pinterest this activity was on there so Miss Amanda brought it to them! They put the pom pom's  through the paper towel tubes then the pom pom's would bounce on the back of the egg carton and then bounce in to the holes! They had such a blast with this activity. Just check out their facial expressions!

Puffy Paint Clouds!

We puffy painted clouds when we talked about the weather! We mixed shaving cream and white school glue!

Our Plants!

Our flowers are growing!

Shaving Cream Fun!

We have been using shaving cream a lot this week! Their favorite thing to do is to play in it! Check out these pictures of the kids who were all about playing in it and a few who just weren't sure yet, but by the end everyone was having a blast!

Windsocks!

During our Spring week we made windsocks! The kids colored their windsock and then picked out 3 colors of crepe paper for the windsocks!

Ladybugs!

We made ladybugs with finger print spots! The kids did great with the fine motor activity of folding the legs for their ladybugs! Then we finished putting the ladybug together!

Let's Paint a Frog!

Another way we wanted to bring in spring was by making a frog!! First we painted a paper plate green. Once the paint dried we added our hand prints for the legs and then a pink curly tongue! Check out the adorable frogs by your child's picture in our room!
