This week we have been learning all about Halloween! It has been a fun and exhausting week! Our letter for the week was letter G so we did hand print ghosts!
Last week was our apple unit and remembered I didn't post our apple painting pictures! The kids loved painting with the apples using the three different colors! Such a fun activity to watch them being engaged in!
Today we were able to paint with apples! The kids loved this fine motor activity as well as practicing our colors! We even worked on taking turns with your friends with the three different colors that we had!
Today we were able to get out the shaving cream for a sensory skill this afternoon! The kids just LOVE playing with this. And Miss Amanda loves it because it is a great table cleaner, gets off all the crayon, glue, and markers that might be stuck on the table. Enjoy the pictures as much as she enjoys spending every day with these 2-year-olds!
Today we watched the story online, "Apples On Top" By: Dr. Seuss, then we put number apples in order on top of our heads (our picture on the paper)! Told help the kids identify the numbers I wrote a number on a piece of paper and then we talked about it. This was such an AWESOME counting activity for the kids! We counted these apples lots of times to see how many apples we have on our heads! Check them out on the front of our classroom door, you can even have your child help you count how many apples they have on their heads!!
Here we are holding up the number 4 to show they had the right number to glue down!
This week we are learning about apples! Today we put our find motor skills to work tearing our tissue paper for the project! Everyone made their own paper plate apple! They even used their own glue stick to put the tissue paper down! They loved putting a little bit of glue then tissue paper (then repeat!). So proud of these kiddos!
