Beautiful Butterflies!

What better way to bring in spring by making beautiful coffee filter butterflies! First we colored coffee filters then put a pipe cleaner around it and made it in to a butterfly!

Art Easel Painting!

Miss Amanda opened up a new part of the Art Center easel.... PAINTING!! The kids just LOVE painting whenever we do it during art time. So I thought I would let them paint during play time! Just be prepared for lots of painted pictures to be sent home! :)

Flowers, Flowers, Flowers!

Today we painted flowers using toilet paper tubes cut in to flower shapes! I encouraged stamping, but of course these kiddos love to paint to it turned more in to a paintbrush and they were stamping like crazy. Such a fun fine motor activity!

Playing in the Dirt!

We have put dirt and seeds in our sensory table! The kids love getting to play in the dirt to search for the seeds!

We Planted Flowers!

This week we are learning all about Spring! What better way than to plant flowers to bring in Spring! They had a blast painting their flower pots and then picking out different flowers to plant! We are excited to watch them grow over the next few weeks!

Our New Art Easel!

Miss Amanda recently brought in an art easel for the kids to play with! The kids absolutely love playing with the markers and the chalk!

Painting with Oranges!

Last week we painted with real oranges! The kids had a blast checking out what the inside of an orange looks like and then using them to paint!
